Family Worker:
Lesley Wetlesen
Our family worker project facilitates volunteers to provide social and practical support for families in need or under pressure which includes divorce recovery and, in partnership with local schools, parenting courses.
WAVES focuses on families experiencing extreme pressure. With a team of volunteers, we come alongside families who need someone to listen, befriend or help with their particular needs.
FUNDING WAVES is a charity (No. 1118771) which is entirely dependant on voluntary funding.
VOLUNTEERING WAVES is dependant on volunteers who are prepared to work with families.
Training and on going support is provided by our family worker.
REFERRALS WAVES responds to the requests of individual and professional care agencies to help individuals and their families.
