Prayer Requests

We all go through times that try and test us, but as Christians we know that we aren't alone. God is on our side, walking with us through the rough as well as the smooth. We also have each other, so if you would like someone from the Pastoral Team to visit you, or if you just need some prayer, please download our prayer request card. Your contact information is optional and confidential. Simply drop the card through our door and, at the pastoral meeting that is held every week, you and your situation will be prayed for, and someone will come and see you, if you would like.

Alternatively, Bill Allen is the first link of our Prayer Chain here at SBC. If you email him he will pass your request along the chain, ensuring that many members of your church family will be praying. Answers to prayer can similiarly be spread in this way. Bill's email address is:

There are many groups that meet for prayer during the week, such as Prayer for Israel, Youth and WAVES prayer group and Revival Prayer. There is also a Prayer Ministry Team, headed by Judith Prentice. Members of this team are available during the week to meet, listen and pray with you. You will also see them at the front of the church towards the end of our Sunday services, but if you feel unable to come to the front of the church during these times, please do make an appointment. Everything is treated as strictly confidential.
